As a single mom and main financial care taker of my father, we plan our vacations way in advance, and save up for them. I booked a stay with ibis Styles London Excel January 2020 with a hotel for July 2020 for EUR 834,83. After contacting the hotel who were, beyond rude and not cooperative that the borders had been closed due to COVID. We had, reasonably proposed to either move our stay to 2021 or refund our stay. They refused.I was given the impression our credit card company would then partner with us as customers, and protect us from these supplier bullies who did not deliver services as promised and would refund my purchase. I took my time to gather all the documentation, including the original reservations with all terms and conditions, and my interactions with their support agents, and filed for a charge back. While it took a month to hear back from them and several emails, they promptly acknowledged the claim and refunded my full stay. I was super thankful, informed my family we could book a COVID-Safe weekend stay, which we did. A month later, ICS removes the full amount off my account!!! I called them, they asked me to email, I have since sent 4 emails, it is 2 months later, I have yet to have a reply, and I am €834,83 overbudget as I thought the matter had been settled in my favor. This is a gross negligence on their part, as I had provided the terms & conditions in my claim and they had already refunded me. This is also an abuse of power. I can do nothing! They can just take the money from my account, without my consent, and do not protect me as a customer from suppliers who do not deliver services as promised and contractually obligated. The hotel was not even able to receive guests during the July period! They fell short on their ability to accommodate me as a guest, and my credit card thinks they should be paid for a service that was never extended. I have dealt with multiple credit card providers over the passed 20 years. This is by far the worse experience and the worse credit card company I have ever encountered.10/27 ICS Cards: I responded and provided your request for information immediately - Case # 115624051
